Come Worship with Us

Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.    - John 4:23

A Heart for Worship

Celebration Choir
is a group of men and women, high school through adult, who love joining their voices together in singing praise to God.  There is no audition required to sing with this group and we welcome all abilities.  Celebration Choir typically sings once a month and works towards larger productions for Christmas and Easter.  There is always room for your voice in the choir. See Carrie for a music book and rehearsal cd.  Rehearsals are twice a month on Thursdays from 6:00-6:30

Men's Ensemble
is a group of men who enjoy singing in three and four part harmony traditional songs in the gospel style.  If you have never sung in a choir before, this is a great place to start.  These guys are so welcoming and friendly and there is no audition required to sing with this group.
Rehearsals are twice a month on Thursdays from 5:30-6:00p.m.

Brass Angels

is a bell ringing ensemble who play hymns as well as contemporary songs. While there is no audition required to play, most of our ringers read music within this group.  We are always looking for more people to come ring bells.  Brass Angels play once a month two songs during the second week of the month.   Rehearsals are twice a month on Thursdays from 5:30-6:30p.m.

Worship Teams

If you have a heart for leading worship in any capacity we have a spot for you.  Worship teams meet weekly to focus on preparing music and performances for Sunday morning service.  Each week we feature a different team of singers, as well as other instrumentalists to lead our congregation in singing and playing hymns and songs of praise.  Rehearsals are Thursdays from 6:45-7:30

Special Music

We are blessed to feature soloists and small groups of singers as well as instrumentalists during worship.  If you have a song on your heart, we would love to see your testimony of faith and talent during our service.

If  you look around, you will see most of our active participants fill duties in other performing ensembles.  This is not a requirement by any means.  I think it is a testament to how much music touches the hearts and souls of First Baptist Church and the people who worship here.  We are blessed with several hearts who have a heart for worshiping the Lord.  If you have a heart for worshiping God and would like to get involved please contact Carrie Hamilton at This email address is being protected from spambots.
